Service Terms
1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our”: Refers to Vanooo
“You”, “Your”: The customer
“Goods”: Items to be transported as listed in your inventory
2. Services
We offer:
Transport of goods from collection to delivery address
Optional packing/unpacking services
Furniture dismantling/reassembly, if agreed in advance
3. Quotes
Quotes are based on your provided details. Additional fees may apply for:
Unexpected items
Access issues
Delays not caused by us
4. Booking & Payment
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
Remaining balance is due on completion
Payments accepted via bank transfer, cash or card
5. Cancellations
Cancellation by the Customer
If a customer cancels more than 72 hours before the scheduled move date, the full deposit will be refunded.
If a customer cancels between 48 and 72 hours before the move, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
If a customer cancels within 48 hours of the move date, the deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellation by Us
In the event that we need to cancel a scheduled move, the full deposit will be refunded. (Possible reasons for cancellation may include: vehicle breakdown, vehicle being out of service, driver’s personal issues, staff shortages, or staff illness.)
6. Rescheduling
If a customer requests to reschedule more than 48 hours before the scheduled moving date, we will be happy to arrange a new date that is mutually agreed upon by both parties.
If a customer requests to reschedule within 48 hours of the scheduled moving date, rescheduling will be subject to our availability, and we reserve the right to accept or decline the new date request.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Properly pack items unless you booked packing services
Inform us of fragile or high-value items
Secure parking or permits, if required
8. Liability
We are insured up to £10,000 for goods in transit
We are not liable for:Items not packed by us
Delays due to traffic or external factors
Pre-existing damage or faults
Incidents where a waiver or liability form is signed
9. Excluded Items:
Vanooo will not transport:
- Hazardous materials or illegal items
- Items requiring special licenses or handling not agreed in advance
10. Termination
Vanooo reserves the right to terminate services without liability under the following circumstances:
The customer breaches any of the agreed terms and conditions.
The job is assessed to be unsafe for staff or equipment.
11. Claims
- Report any loss/damage immediately before or just after the move
- Claims must be supported with evidence
12. Subcontracting
We may subcontract part or all of the services. We remain responsible for our subcontractors.
13. Extra Charges
If our team arrives at the collection address at the agreed time and the customer is not ready to begin loading, waiting time charges will apply. A fee of £40 per hour (or part thereof) will be added to the total cost for each hour of delay caused by the customer after our arrival.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
